Hmm. Yes.

Playing around a bit overnight, I get two instances of the appended Oops, 
both coinciding with the end of a recording. The error I posted earlier 
then occurs immediately upon killing mythbackend.

Since this is a RedHat kernel, I probably ought to open a bug there...:-/
