Is 'KNC1 DVB-S plus X4' the correct name of this card?
According to your patch the name is 'SUBID_DVBS_TV_STAR_PLUS'.

Would be nice (if you have a CI/CAM).

Simply try whether it works without setting GPIO3.
If not, try with GPIO3 set to high.
