Hello to all,

I have just bought an Intuix S825 hybrid DVB-T and analog TV tuner. It's
an USB device with ID 04ca:f004, which led me to believe that it is the
same as the Intuix S820 which was discussed previously on the list:

http://www.linuxtv.org/pipermail/linux-dvb/2006-September/012969.html

The results of lsusb are identical to the ones in that mail.

I have been tinkering a bit with the drivers and reached some success with
the dib0700 driver. I added the USB ids in the driver list and the stick
was recognized, the firmware is correctly loaded and the LED in the stick
goes live. However, I have not been able to get any further; all tuning
attempts have been futile. In my dmesg log, I get the following when
inserting all modules with debug=1:

-----------

-----------

I have the feeling that the I2C errors are the culprits. Maybe the problem
is that the stick does not have a mt2060? I have been snooping the windows
driver files and there are references to the following chips on the
associated .sys file: cx2584x, cx3028 and mt2060. I have seen a cx3028
driver on the tree, but I would need a bit of assistance with setting it
up.

I'm using Ubuntu Feisty, kernel 2.6.19. The stick works OK under Windows.

I have a few days to return it to the shop and I suspect that's what I
will ultimately do, but if you want I'm available to perform tests on it
to see if it's possible to make it work.

Best regards and thanks in advance.
