attempt to tune it using a channels.conf from another system in my house I
get a Tuning failure and (sometimes a kernel OOPS) with recv bulk message
errors. However, if I follow the recommendations here (<A
href="http://www.linuxtv.org/pipermail/linux-dvb/2006-April/009684.html">http://www.linuxtv.org/pipermail/linux-dvb/2006-April/009684.html</A> )
and change ythe freq for BBC ONE from 641833330 to 642000000 I get a successful
lock. dvbdate from the dvb-apps returns the correct date/time but scan results
in a system freeze. Once tuned, all further attemps to retune the device (even
to BBC ONE) result in a system freeze. Below is an extract from my (modified)
