thx for this version, but it seems, that all special characters like
german umlauts and characters like ' are broken they are all replaced
by a ?.

For example:
Was l?uft jetzt?
Schmeckt nicht, gibt?s nicht~

I start VDR with:
LC_MESSAGES=de_DE /usr/local/video/vdradmin/vdradmind.pl

Does anyone know, who to fix this problem?
