One possible option is to create file /etc/X11/xinit.d/runxine with 
executable permissions:
#!/bin/sh
[[ "$(id -un)" == "vdruser" ]] && exec xine -L --fullscreen --geometry 
720x576 --borderless --hide-gui --no-logo --no-splash 
vdr://tmp/vdr-xine/stream#demux:mpeg_pes

The file is run (at least here with Mandriva) when user logs in to X 
session.
