I've had >24 hour recordings in the past
(If you change the end-time repeatly you could make an nearly "endless" recording. It is only limited by the 255 .vdr-files limit. A week shouldn't be a problem <g>)
And i do >=18 hour recordings reguarly for many years now.
(And these are the only ones where i actually use VDR to "playback" from beginning to end, so i can say for sure that index.vdr is OK.)
I (still) use VDR 1.2.6 with DVB-driver from 2 years ago though!
Real Programmers consider "what you see is what you get" to be just as
bad a concept in Text Editors as it is in women. No, the Real Programmer
wants a "you asked for it, you got it" text editor -- complicated,
cryptic, powerful, unforgiving, dangerous.
