[vdr] Xine Network

Having problems with Xine Network...

I have vdr running with xine network and on the local machine can get 
video/audio when I connect xine via 127.0.0.1.  

When I try and connect from a remote machine, however, I get "xiTK received 
SIGSEGV signal, RIP".

I see on the VDR console the machine connect and then disconnect with 
" ::write(33611) returned -1, error 104: Connection reset by peer
vdr-xine: Client connect failed!"

Any suggestions what might be wrong?
