I'va taken a look at the posting at vdrportal.de, but it's unlcear
who actually proposed this first ("mini", "Marcus", "Yaris",
"Alexander Wenzel"...?).

Can the real author (real name + email) please speak up and provide
an actual 'diff' against VDR version 1.3.43?

Since I don't use this shutdown stuff myself I can only apply diffs
that are backed by a real person, who is willing to take the blame
if it doesn't work ;-).
