Don't know if it works for x86_64.

I checked out xine-lib one minute ago to test and I had no problem.

patching file src/libw32dll/Makefile.am
Hunk #1 succeeded at 15 (offset 2 lines).
patching file src/libw32dll/nal_parser.c
....

Where did you get the xine.patch?

svn checkout http://coreavc-for-linux.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ 
coreavc-for-linux-read-only from yesterday is what I'm using.
