I forgot to mention, that TrueColor OSD is currently only 
possible with VDPAU.

Furthermore you have to select an "OSD display mode" different 
from "X11 overlay" in vdr-xines setup menu. Despite the name of 
this mode, it is currently not ARGB capable.
