Is a hardware PID filter usually part of the demodulator or is this always done in a separate chip? I know that PID filtering is done on the TS stream, so logically it is done after the demodulator. The question is if the PID filter is usually integrated in the Demodulator hardware. If so, it might be nice to add a column to the table informing about the number of pids it can filter for and the driver support. --- Hlangos 10:42, 27 March 2009 (CET)
