[linux-dvb] VDR: No OSD, switching channel fails

Hi vdr'ler,

after succesfully testing the hardware under win98, deleting win98 ;-) and
installing
suse 7.2, kernel 2.4.4-4GB with dvb-s rev. 2.1 from Hauppauge, I tried to
install DVB/VDR
using at least the latest driver/program from Klaus' homepage
(0.9/0.85-20010729) with
standard conf's in /video.

The following happens:

	DRIVER - make, make insmod
	=> loading USING i2c-core.o/videodev.o
	=> I did nothing to load dvb.o module *without* option 'outstream=0'
(is that right?)
	=> n-tv appears on tv (s-vhs)

AND	VDR    - make (=>OK)
	=> When I run vdr there is no OSD available on TV and channel
switching is impossible.

OR	VDR    - make DEBUG_OSD=1 (=>OK)
	=> When I start vdr the OSD appears at PC-Monitor and works well,
and channel switching
	   is impossible. For your info: when I start with vdr 0.83/0.84 no
OSD comes up!

I'm not sure whether I miss something or not, so hints are welcome ;-)

For further details find the /var/log/messages at the end.

Bye Norbert
