The audio quality is in par with video. i.e. when video gets scrambled,
audio gives quirky noises -- and when there is almost no video, there is
only quirky noises. I donīt know about windoze since I have never had one
-- I donīt even know how to use one productively -- The only thing I know
about that windoze driver that one should use the latest available for
download instead of that (buggy) that came w/ the card -- I bought my card
already in april...

Yes it is, it designed for UHF channels 21-69 (Triax K21-69 UNIX) and gives
14.5 dB gain. The distance to the transmitter is about 20 km. In february I
had for a 3 week perion Nokia Mediamaster 9828T, and I could get better
reception with it using only simple "2 telescope pipes" (or how should I
describe it) antenna from "mobile" TV.

Up to now Iīve heard that WinTV NOVA-t (or at least some units) are
extremely sensitive to the hardware the PC has -- like the machine BIOS
needed to be set in "failsafe" mode and the power unit may cause problems.
In these two above cases, the machine was much older than the one I have.
Also, one user needed to replace his NOVA-t to the new one before it worked
at all.
