[linux-dvb] DVB-s rev 2.2 doesn't tune

since  I burned the composite out of my primary card some weeks ago, I got
a new one (Hauppauge Nexus-s, i.e. rev 2.2) last week and tried to install
it yesterday.

Since  I only have one sat cable, I connected it to the secondary (old rev
2.1)  card  and watched the channels in transfermode. Then I connected the
cable to the primary (new) card and it wasn't able to tune to any channel.
(culdn't lock channel n on dvb device 1 or something like that)

I have done all that using VDR 1.1.16 and the dtiver dated 2002.11.01 from
Klaus' site.

Then  I  compiled szap and tried that - no error messages, some statistics
on the screen, but no picture.

I'm going to try something different tonight, like taking the old card out
of the box or trying the old driver or trying the newest CVS version.

Of  course  the  card  could  be  broken.  But  my question is: Am I doing
something silly? Did I just forget something? what could I try to be sure?

BTW: although this are two different revisions of the card, lspci -n
     returns the same ids.
