[linux-dvb] OT: dvbscan/dvbtune/TS Scan

Hello,

I normally use dvbtune or dvbscan to find out whats on my Nova-T DVB
card.  Does anyone know if this software simply reads the Transport
Stream?  And if so, are there any programs that can do the same for a
Transport Stream file instead of tuning into a DVB card?
