Well, that solves one problem.  Thanks!

Now I can use tzap and even cat the output of dvr0 to mplayer, however the
output is still poor quality with huge mpeg breakup, curiously the "ber"
reported by tzap is quite high (50-200) and I assume that the problem is
going to be this high error rate.  However, the full featured card reports
(0), and the windows driver works ok, so I think it is not simply a case of
not having a decent antenna in the back

Any ideas?
