I've read a discussion about HDTV and DVB in Linux on this list, but I'm 
fairly new to this. Could anyone sum up the current state of affairs of 
HDTV via DVB on Linux, please?

- Is there a software that supports watching and recording of HDTV on 
Linux? Can MythTV do this?

- Is it worth attempting with regards to the number of English language 
channels available in Europe? In other words how many HDTV channels are 
broadcasted in Europe? Are all of them encrypted?

- What about watching encrypted channels, both oficially and unofficially?
