We left Convergence about 18 months ago.

My brother and I, or "Metzler Brothers Systementwicklung GbR".

We are using the kernel I2C driver. Configuration of the frontend
according to card type is done through the attach callbacks of the I2C driver.

It has an SU1278. I don't remember the I2C address right now but
that's auto-detected anyway. The OPs are reversed compared to the Nova
card.

And AFAIK the Typhoon card is produced by KNC for Typhoon. So, it is not
really a "rip-off".
