[linux-dvb] Nova-S - video data only after windoze boot

Hello,

I recently bought a Hauppauge WinTV Nova-S SE, but I can't get it to run properly under Linux. I know that there are several threads on similiar issues but the solutions listed there don't help me.

The card just works fine after I but windows - I use szap -r ZDF and xine stdin://mpeg2 < /dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0.

If I start Linux without having booted windows before, szap still tunes correctly (as it seems) but there is no data from the dvr0-device.

Anyone could help me please?

My Config: I use debian sid + kernel 2.6.5
lspci -v reports:
02:0e.0 Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7146 (rev 01)
Subsystem: Technotrend Systemtechnik GmbH: Unknown device 100f
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 32, IRQ 18
Memory at d6000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [disabled] [size=512]

after modprobe budget-ci; modprobe sftv0299 dmesg reads:
saa7146: register extension 'budget_ci dvb'.
PCI: Enabling device 0000:02:0e.0 (0004 -> 0006)

(I have activated debugging in sftv0299)

szap -r ZDF prints: (no matter if win was started before)
