I would try disabling pre-emptive switching, only as far as I can tell,
it wasn't enabled in the first place!
I guess I'm just not cut out for recompiling kernels... :(
I've ditched Fedora for the moment and I'm having a go with KnoppMyth -
the 2.4 version seems to work, at least, the modules all load :)
