[mpeg2] How to install driver on Linux

Hi all, 
	I have bought two Mpeg2 encoder board. I have download the
driver for linux in linuxtv.org. And also the
Makefile which extract the microcode from windows driver. However while I
do a "make" to extract the microcode, error occur (Error 4). Also when I
run "make" in the driver directory, it said do nothing and then
returned. No .o file is produced

	Could anyone kindly tell me step by step how to install the linux
driver? What file do I need? Where can I get them? How to extract the
microcode?
