Thanks, Klaus, for implementing that.
I'm sorry that I have to report, that something in my tests went wrong with
the keyboard configuration/translation, I tested with midnight commander in
a terminal/shell in X.
I tested now again on plain command prompt, and saw that
? " * < > | : \ / really are "bad",
BUT ä Ä ö Ö ü Ü are OK.
Sorry.
~ and blank are also ok, but substituted anyhow.
Maybe someone who has also VFAT could doublecheck that, just to be sure this
time.
