[vdr] Re: is there a way to play mpg1 files with pause,forward.. withoutloosing a/v sync ?



But than mplayer will encode the mpeg1 and reencode as mpeg2 for the dvd 
card !? 
decodeing will place in software and not hardware ... !? Correct me if I'm 
wrong.

What about MPlayer?

If this works, you could use the MPlayer extention to select the
files from the OSD.
