Hello,

i've just uploaded tosvcd-0.3 to

tosvcd is a small c++ utility that can take one or more 
recorded vdr files and transcode them to one or more SVCD image files
ready to burn with cdrdao.

Some functions:
      - reads marks.vdr file so you only have to mark your
        vdr recording, no need for physical cutting/copying
      - synchronises Video/Audio
      - tries to repair demaged streams
      - split output(with help of mpeg2enc)
      - invoke yuvscaler, if input is not 480x576
      - invoke noise filter on request
      - predicts finish time
      - predicts final output size
      - restarts if output size exceeds CD's capacity
        to enable full automatic operation
      - invoke mplex and vcdimager
