hwo do you had execute the 'mk_vdrdaemon' - script?
it seem's that the link to vdr is not correct

you have to exectue:

# mk_vdrdaemon -vdr /usr/local/vdr

if you've installed vdr at '/usr/local/vdr'

please exec 'mk_vdrvaemon -help' to get description of all parameters.
