I dont think space is a problem, most broadcast titles fit onto the
screen, and if not you can probably guess the rest or press ok to see
the whole title.
If you need more space, you could probably remove the channel number,
andreas did it with his patch i think.
I think you would have to increase row heights to implement underline
progress bars, because lines need to be at least 3 pixels thick to stop
flickering. So there would fit less lines on the screen and the menu
would look different to the other vdr menus...
