Hi, I noticed some days ago that some of my recordings are showing
approx. every 5 seconds a distortion in video and sometime in audio
playback. I was checking if the DMA-mode for the HD is set and was
trying to monitor with "top" if some process is activated every 5
seconds. No success. The system is a plain redhat 7.1 with kernel
2.4.10.

any ideas?
