[vdr] Maybe OT: Fullscreen OSD's

Maybe my question is a little bit out of topic:

I read the technical specifiation pdf's for the Siemens DVB-S onboard chips.

It seems for me that a fullscreen OSD could be possible.

But why won't it work (okay it won't work because there isn't enoug memory)?
Is a part of the memory which could be used for osd taken by another chip?
