The mpeg decoder chip can only decode mpeg1/2. That's the reason why
mplayer recodes the divx video to mpeg2. And this realtime divx decoding
and mpeg2 encoding takes much of cpu time. Use always the latest release
of mplayer. There has been much improvments made in April.
