I'm not sure, but I think that __cmpdi2 is a gcc internal
function to handle 64bit values.
Did you managed to compile older version if the MP3 extention?
What gcc version are you using (gcc --version)?
PS: I don't think that it's related to libsndfile as the error is
inside the libmad related source part.
