[vdr] Re: Other projects?



So be it, but until then, there is a gap of about 8 years, and I don't
intend to wait until then ;)

But seriously, if it even would be possible for me to get DVB, I'd had to
pay through the nose for it, and then all I'd get is the same thing I have
now, but digital, and I've seen what telia does to the feed. You can clearly
see blocknoise with fast action scenes, it's even worse than some movies you
can find on the net. So no, I don't see a reason to get DVB ... YET! :)

Back to my question, is there any project like this but for analog? I've
seen windows programs 'n stuff, but I really liked the slick approach of
running everything on the tv. I don't need all the fancy stuff (which isn't
possible either) that DVB provides.

Maybe I'm asking for too much, I don't know, but it would seem strange that
noone has done it.
