I believe Matthias Schniedermeier's Master Timer perl package might do
something like that.

Not for digiguide, but for http://tvtv.de a package exists that does
exactly this. Take a look at epg2timers.
There is a british version of tvtv at http://www.tvtv.co.uk and I believe
there are other national versions, too. If epg2timers doe not already
work with all of them, it should be trivial to make it work with any tvtv
web EPG.
