[vdr] AW: Re: .vdr under Windows



A good Rambus system would be faster than the same components with DDR. The
memory peeak performance of Rambus ist better...

But i don't think, that it would be produce much better results when viewing
MPEG files, because the acceleration should result of a good video hardware.
The gpu does normaly the zooming and some other parts of the mpeg decoding,
not the cpu of the system.

Or do you want to say, that DDR modules offer more storage capacity at the
same costs? That is true :)
But Rambus becomes cheaper in the last months...

why *only*? DDR are fater that rambus and cost less
