The Allwell boxes are very cheap compared to others.

The cost, depending on installed options, between USD 300 and 450. Shipping
per unit to EU costs approx USD 80-100.

They will send you a pricelist, if you email them.


Yes, the "FutureClient" looks nice, but still too much like a PC.

Think about this: For a VDR it might be nice to have a display on-case.

For a client-only, a machine, that replays network streams and has not much
more function, you might prefer a device that looks like a DVD player or
so, and the Allwell boxes just look like this. Ideal to put it below your
TV in the bedroom, instead of a VCR. The Allwell boxes can be equipped with
2x PCI (riser card, optional), the riser card comes with an embedded MPEG2
decoder, such a riser with MPEG4 is in the works. They also can hold a HDD
and a CD/DVD-ROM.
