Yes.

Master-Timer programs what you have configured in the "torecord"-file.

Not more, not less.

e.g.
You want to record the whole series "Andromeda".

[Andromeda]
Title = Andromeda
Prio = 60
Channel = !FTA

This will record everything which has a title which contains "andromeda"
(Case insensitive)

The timers will get a Prio of 60.
On my System the Macro "FTA" contains Free-To-Air channels. And this
means that i DON'T want it to be recorded on a Free-To-Air channels. (I
recorded it when it came on Premiere)

A "minimum"-timer would be like this

[Andromeda]
Title = Andromeda

You CAN record everything, when you want.

[Record everything]
Title = .

This would record just everything

At the top of "sample/torecord" is a description of the file-format.

Real Programmers consider "what you see is what you get" to be just as
bad a concept in Text Editors as it is in women. No, the Real Programmer
wants a "you asked for it, you got it" text editor -- complicated,
cryptic, powerful, unforgiving, dangerous.
