[vdr] Aldi-Remote Control and LIRC

Hello List,

I'm using the Aldi RC with Code 230 (fits best to the rest of my equipment) 
with LIRC and the lirc_sir-modul - not the homebrew stuff! The RC works good, 
but the max. distance between the IR-Receiver and the RC is only 1,5m! That's 
not sufficient. Is it possibile to tweak lirc or the RC?
Do people with the homebrew-modul have the same problems?
