Is this referring to device as in your card, or device as in /dev/?

I had device problems when I first ran NEWSTRUCT until I ran
/DVB/driver/makedev.napi to remove the old and create the new /dev/dvb
stuff.

vdr and NEWSTRUCT both running fine here on Suse 8.0.
