[vdr] VDR on rank 2 of the Linux New Media Award

Conratulations to Klaus Schmidinger and all developers of VDR,

the Jury of the Linux New Media Award (Editors Choice) rated VDR on rank 2
of the best Newcomer in 2002. With 17.2% VDR got close to the winners Gentoo
Linux and Ogg Vorbis (each 24.4%, shared rank 1).

For the first time the Linux New Media Award was an Editor Choice, the jury
consists of the editors of the Linux-Magazin, LinuxUser and Linux-Magazine
plus a lot of "big names" from the Linux Community, e.g. Alan Cox, Georg C.F.
Greve, Jon "maddog" Hall, Harald König, Daniel Riek, Tom Schwaller and many
more.

The Award will be handed out to Klaus Schmidinger in recognition of his
efforts on the devellopment of VDR.
