[vdr] Re: where to place runvdr on suse 8.0



Hello Gerhard,

you could also start it via runlevels. Have a look at

/etc/init.d/

there you find a lot of scripts called "startxxx" e.g. Just set up a script 
that has the abilities to start and stop the runvdr.

There you need to create a symbolic link under the runleveldirectoy (e.g. 
rc3.d for network without X). The number you use in the name of the link is 
the order the services are started.
