does it only happen to me, or why can't i untar that file?
was anything changed during your upload?

tar xvfz vdr-osdteletext-0.2.tgz 

gzip: stdin: not in gzip format
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

any ideas?
