[vdr] time synch from channel

Hello List,

one question @Klaus: How is the feature above done? Is it a function call 
inside vdr?
Background: I'm running vdr not as user "root", so it is impossible to set the 
systime! If time would be synced via "hwclock --systohw" I could set the 
suid-bit or use sudo to allow my vdr-user to do this. Furthermore I could use 
my vdr-system as timeserver in my net @home!
