Should it be possible to play "MiniDVD" (DVD on CD-R) with the VDR DVD
Plugin?

I have never tried that, but it should work in theory. What problems do
you have with your MiniDVD ?

If i try to replay i get the following error:

Mar 17 17:07:42 video kernel: hdd: packet command error: status=0x51 {
DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
Mar 17 17:07:42 video kernel: hdd: packet command error: error=0x50
Mar 17 17:07:42 video kernel: ATAPI device hdd:
Mar 17 17:07:42 video kernel: Error: Illegal request -- (Sense key=0x05)
Mar 17 17:07:42 video kernel: Cannot read medium - incompatible format --
(asc=0x30, ascq=0x02)
Mar 17 17:07:42 video kernel: The failed "Send DVD Structure" packet
command was:
Mar 17 17:07:42 video kernel:   "ad 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 08 00 00 "
Your DVD drive refuses to read this CD as DVD.....

Using "mount" on the linux box works find.
If i try this cd on another machine, using WinDVD or FusionSoft DVD (both
under Windows) also works fine.
I do not have any standalone player to try.
A standalone player will be the only ultimate test.

Versions: vdr-1.1.25, latest dvd plugin with libdvdnav-0.1.4note2

I have created this cd with cdrecord-2.0:
mkisofs -dvd-video -o dvd.img dvd
cdrecord dev=0,4,0 -dao dvd.img
I don't now anything about MiniDVD's, but DVD's use a UDF filesystem, you created a ISO9660 filesystem ...

The files on the cd are
.
./audio_ts
./video_ts
./video_ts/video_ts.bup
./video_ts/video_ts.ifo
./video_ts/video_ts.vob
./video_ts/vts_01_0.bup
./video_ts/vts_01_0.ifo
./video_ts/vts_01_1.vob
VIDEO_TS and all filenames have to be UPPER-case.
