For all who are interested, miniDVD do work if you use "libdvdread-0.9.4".
You may notice some warnings in the syslog, but the cd plays nearly
perfectly.

Video: 100%
Audio: 90% dropouts on every drive access
Navigation menu shows no or only partial "highlight border" when select
another chapter.

But this two problems might be another story ...
