since i use vdr 1.1.25 and the needed newer driver (between pre1 release and
yesterdayīs cvs) i have often the same error in syslog/messages. If this
happend, i must restart the driver....

With vdr 1.0.x and driver between Jan.2002 and Oct. 2002 i havenīt had any
problems like this. Cause my machine runīs 24/7 and the hardware wasnīt
changed, this must caused by the actual driver and/or firmware. I think i
could remember the older ci-cam firmware runīs without this error, but i
have tried so much things in the last 2 weeks, so i can not say this 100%.
The only other thing i have changed from the running machine befor to now
was the linux-version (befor: RH 7.3, custom 2.4.17er kernel, now Mandrake
9.1rc2), but i canīt belive this will cause this problem.

Because hardware section filtering become less reliability also with the new
driver/firmware, i think this will caused by an less reliable filter
(section *and* PES filter) handling in the firmware.

Greetings
