No, I bought it because I first wanted to play around without installing 
satelite equipment and vdr 1.0 did not support timeshift on one card.

With my current know how and the possibilities of vdr 1.1 I probably would not 
buy two any more. I am fine with the capabilities of the single card setup - 
but perhaps I will long for more in the future.
