[vdr] Re: Hauppauge Remote-control and CAM dislike each other

Hm, the only place where it might interfere is on the ARM side. :-(
- Unless you press a key on the remote transmitter, there is no data
transfer from the ARM to the driver. - The remote plugin does blocking reads, so there is virtually no cpu
load caused by this plugin.

Maybe the infred receiver receives noise and keeps the ARM busy(?)
Do the messages stop when you remove the IR receiver or cover the receiver with tape?
Sorry - since I switched to Viaccess Ver 1.0 all this problems
disappeared - I can't reproduce it. On the other hand I do have rather
much IR-noise - e.g. from the IRC_serial remote :-)

But even that doesnt't disturb the Viaccess Ver 1.0 a lot.
Only channel-switching with the Hauppauge remote control seems
to be a bit slower compared to IRC_serial.

My solution was very simple: I have one serial-Switch and both
computers share now the LIRC_serial device. It's more convenient
because of the higher number of keys. :-)
