[vdr] lirc + via M10000 + 2.6.0 (lirc patched)

I'm sorry for the slight OT but I've tried anything to run lirc on via
M10000. I have to use latest kernel for video performance so I don't
know if the problem is due to new kernel (it has to be patched for
lirc) or to via board.

I'm using an homebrew lirc serial receiver that works on my older
computer.
I loaded lirc_serial, created symlink /dev/lirc to /dev/ttyS0 and
started lircd, but it crashed every time a program (irw f.e.) try to connect to
it.
