Right, The Very Basic Set-Top-Box
- no monitor
- no X
- no mplayer
- no xine
- no frame buffers
- no multichannel sound (until somebody makes 6.1 channel headphones)

Just the VDR-box connected to the TV with single scartcable,
even the connection method is irrelevant (comp-vid, s-vid, rgb)
all of them are good enough.
