Besides those points: 
- How noisy is an Xbox?
- How good is the TV out especially concerning playback of interlaced
material? Are there any deinterlacers or does the xine player do some deinterlacing
internally? If so, how is the quality? Is the picture quality comparable to
a set top box or a pc with DXR3/Nexus/Matrox tv-out?
- What is the status of the xine plugin? The last thing I remember is that
sometimes the channel switching did not work or was at least very slow?
Haven´t heard of any new version from Reinhard Nissel for a long time... :-)
